We Are Back!
We at CUES are very excited that things are finally moving forward again after a 4 month delay due to COVID-19. Things in Uganda are still far from normal, but restrictions have been lifted enough for the program to move ahead again.
The ambulance is ready to go, with the graphics and service done. The station is in its final stages of outfitting and preparation, and the team is preparing for their practicum, soon to begin at several local health centres.
We are still watching the world situation carefully, and hope that there will be an opportunity to implement phase 4 soon when travel restrictions are lifted.
